Applicability: Model 767 series aircraft equipped with off-wing escape slides.
Requirement: Action in accordance with the technical requirements of FAA AD 95-08-11 Amdt 39- 9200.
Note: Boeing Service Bulletin 767-25-0216 refers.
Compliance: As specified in the Requirement Document with a revised effective date of 12 October 1995.
Background: The FAA received reports that indicated that the requirements of a previously issued FAA AD did not adequately preclude leakage from the door opening actuators. This Directive requires replacement of the currently installed door opening actuators of the off-wing escape system with new, improved actuators.
