COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA (Civil Aviation Regulations 1998), PART 39 - 105 CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY AUTHORITY SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive (AD) AD/BAe 146/101 and issues the following AD under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CAR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Digital Flight Guidance Computer 2/2003
Applicability: All Avro 146-RJ70, RJ85 and RJ100 series aeroplanes with modification HCM01080B and HCM01364D or HCM01364E or HCM01364F incorporated.
Requirement: Modify the Digital Flight Guidance Computer (DFGC) system in accordance with BAe Systems (Operations) Ltd Modification Service Bulletin SB.22-068-70628B dated 4 November 2002.
Note: This Modification Service Bulletin has been classified as Mandatory by the CAA(UK).
Compliance: Before 1 May 2005.
This Amendment becomes effective on 20 February 2003.
Background: The original issue of this Directive introduced a new Honeywell DFGC incorporating changes to radio altitude monitoring and other system enhancements.
This Amendment corrects an anomaly in the Applicability Statement.
The original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 26 December 2002.
