Applicability: All Series BAe 146 aircraft.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Avro International Aerospace Mandatory Service Bulletin 57-47.
Compliance: As specified in the requirement document with the initial inspection before 28 September 1995.
Background: The manufacturer received a report of corrosion on the bracket surface between the two tab drive flanges in the area of the two attachment bolts. This has given rise to cracking of the flanges at their base in severe corrosion cases.
