Requirement: Action in accordance with Beechcraft Mandatory Service Bulletin 2562 dated August 1994.
Note: FAA AD 94-20-05 Amdt 39-9033 refers.
Compliance: Within 50 hours time in service from 19 October 1994.
Background: Beechcraft have advised the FAA that they received a report of the hot battery bus bar wrongly installed on the lower (load) side of the hot battery bus fuse assembly in a Beech 1900 series aircraft (correct installation is on the upper (power) side of the circuit). This incorrect installation does not provide adequate overload protection to circuits connected to the hot battery bus, this condition if not detected and corrected could result in loss of all electrical power to all emergency equipment connected to the hot battery bus. Inspections and modification of the electrical circuit required by this Directive will ensure adequate overload protection of circuits connected to the hot battery bus.
