COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA (Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998), PART 39 - 105 CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY AUTHORITY SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CAR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.
Beechcraft 200 (Super King Air) Series Aeroplanes
AD/BEECH 200/70 External Door Operating Instructions 4/2003
Applicability: Model 200 and B200 aircraft, serial numbers BB-2, BB-6 through BB-1313, BB-1315 through BB-1384, and BB-1389 through BB-1662.
Model 200C and B200C aircraft, serial numbers BL-1 through BL-72 and BL-124 through BL-140.
Model 200CT and B200CT aircraft, serial numbers BN-1 through BN-4.
Model 200T and B200T aircraft, serial numbers BT-1 through BT-38, and BB-1314.
Requirement: Modify the exterior door operating procedures by incorporating the applicable kit in accordance with the applicable kit instructions as specified in the Accomplishment Instructions section in Raytheon Mandatory Service Bulletin SB 52-3096 Revision 1, Revised: June 2002.

Compliance: Within 200 hours time in service or 12 calendar months after 17 April 2003, whichever occurs first; unless already accomplished.
