Beechcraft 35 (Bonanza) Series Aeroplanes

Amdt 2
Spar Truss 8/81
Applicability: Models 35 and 35R with S/Nos. D1 to D1500.
Requirement: 1. Provide five access doors in the fuselage skin below the mainplane forward truss assembly in accordance with Beech SB Model 35 (35R) No. 24, revised 5 November 1963.
2. Inspect the mainplane centre section front and rear spar truss assemblies in accordance with Beech SB Model 35 (35R) No. 24, revised 5 November 1963. For aircraft modified in accordance with FAA STC SA222CE (Mainplane Centre Section Reinforcement), inspect in accordance with STC SA222CE installation instructions Sheet 3.

Compliance: For Para 1. Prior to the first inspection in accordance with this Directive.
For Para 2. Prior to issue or renewal of Certificate of Airworthiness and thereafter:
(a) For aircraft modified in accordance with STC SA222CE -at intervals not exceeding 1000 hours time in service, or three years, whichever occurs sooner.
(b) For all other aircraft - as specified in Beech SB Model 34 (35R) No. 24 revised 5 November 1963, or at intervals not exceeding three years, whichever occurs sooner.
Background: This Directive has been revised to allow extended inspection intervals for aircraft fitted with wing centre section reinforcement modification to FAA STC SA222CE.
