AD/BEECH 55/89 Amdt 1 (Continued)
Background: The manufacturer has identified several instances of missing rivets on affected aircraft. These rivets must be present for the fuselage to carry the ultimate load and prevent critical structural failure, with loss of aircraft control.
Amendment 1 is issued in response to a new FAA AD which corrects applicability.
The original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 22 March 2001.
David Alan Villiers
Delegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority 7 February 2003
The above AD is notified in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette on 26 February 2003.
