Beechcraft 90 and 65-90 (King Air) Series Aeroplanes
AD/BEECH 90/82 Ailerons 1/90
Applicability: Model C90A with S/nos LJ-1132 through LJ-1167 and any aircraft which may have installed a replacement aileron for any reason subsequent to 1 January 1985.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Beechcraft Mandatory SB No 2256.
Note: FAA AD 89-22-14 refers.
Compliance: Prior to exceeding 100 hours' time in service after 25 January 1990, or at the next scheduled inspection for issue of a Maintenance Release after 25 January 1990, whichever occurs later.
Background: Country of origin AD. Foam may retain water and create an aileron out of balance condition. The out of balance limit could result in control surface flutter.
