SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
Bell Helicopter Textron 204 Series Helicopters
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CAR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.
AD/BELL 204/37 Swashplate Support Assembly 8/2000
Applicability: Model 204B with swashplate P/N204-011-404-125 installed.
Requirement: Action in accordance with the technical requirements of FAA AD 92-07-08.
Compliance: Before further flight after the effective date of this directive, and before installation of a P/N204-011-404-125 swashplate.
This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 10 August 2000.
Background: Unapproved bushings with ODs well in excess of the permitted tolerance have been found installed in the outboard gimbal ring support lug and shoulder. It also follows the re-introduction of the AD Series after sixteen years.
