AD/BELL 206/113 Wedge (Bulged) Windows in Single Latch Doors

Applicability: All models 206A and 206B prior to S/No.1751 that have `wedge' windows fitted to single latch doors.
Requirement: Install the following placard on each door fitted with a `wedge' window above the operating handle at nominal eye level:
"WARNING"
DOOR MAY OPEN WITHOUT WARNING.
SEAT BELT OR HARNESS TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.
The placard lettering is to be no less than 3.5 mm high and is to be white on a red background. The word 'WARNING' is to be at least 40% higher than the other lettering.
Compliance: Prior to the issue of the next Maintenance Release after 16 June 1988.
Background: The manufacturer has reported cases of single latch doors fitted with wedge windows opening in flight without any warning.
