SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
Bell Helicopter Textron Canada (BHTC) 206 and Agusta Bell 206 Series Helicopters
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CAR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Applicability: All Agusta-Bell AB206A and AB206B helicopters equipped with tail rotor blade part number 206-016-201 (all dash numbers) that have accumulated less than 25 flight hours.
All Bell Helicopter Textron Canada 206 series helicopters equipped with tail rotor blade part number 206-016-201 (all dash numbers) that were procured through Agusta SpA and have accumulated less than 25 flight hours.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Agusta Bollettino Technico 206-234, dated 10 August 2000.
Note: RAI AD 2000-394 refers.
Compliance: Before further flight after 18 August 2000 for Part I of the Requirement document, unless already accomplished. As specified in the Requirement document for the Part II requirement, if affected.
This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 18 August 2000.
Background: Reports have been received of two cases of the loss of the central balance weight, installed at the tip of the affected tail rotor blades. This Directive requires certain actions, and a radiographic inspection if affected.
