Elevator and Flap Control Rods - Inspection NK
Applicability: All models.
Requirement: 1. Inspect elevator and flap control rods for corrosion and rectify in accordance with Britten Norman SB No. BN-2/SB.101.
2. Bonding clips and leads may be removed completely provided that:
(a) Radio system still performs satisfactorily; and
(b) Control rod fork end bearings are of all metal construction.
Note: If bearings are fitted with "plastic" inserts it will be necessary for the bonding clips and leads to be replaced.
Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 31 October 1977.
