COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA (Civil Aviation Regulations 1998), PART 39 - 105 CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY AUTHORITY SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
Casa 212 Series Aeroplanes
AD/CASA/12 Flap Control Rod Joints 7/89 DM
Applicability: All model C-212.
Requirement: Action in accordance with CASA Service Bulletin 212-27-22 Rev. 3. Compliance: Prior to 30 September 1989. Background: Reports have been received overseas that failed bolts, lacking positive retention, may separate from the flap linkage. This could lead to flap control system failure and asymmetric flap condition on retraction. The F.A.A. have issued an A.D. 89-05-01 on the subject.
