AD/CASA/15 Flight Idle Stops 9/92 TX
Applicability: All model C-212- series aircraft.
Requirement: Action in accordance with the technical requirements of FAA Telegraphic AD T92-13-51.
Note: CASA SB 212-76-07 provides service data on the backup blocking system.
Compliance: Within 48 hours from 24 June 1992. Thereafter reinspect at intervals not exceeding 300 hours time in service.
Background: During investigation of a fatal accident a backup power lever flight idle stop was found to be inoperative. This directive introduces a functional test of the system.
