AD/CESSNA 206/40 Fuel Selector Valve Safety Wire 5/85
Applicability: Model 206 with S/Nos. 206-0001 to U20606827 and P206-0001 to P20600647. Requirement: Action in accordance with Cessna SIL SE84-5. Note: FAA AD 85-02-07 refers.
Compliance: Prior to issue of the next Maintenance Release after 31 May 1985.
Background: Loss of fuel selector control, followed by engine fuel starvation can occur should the roll pin connecting the fuel selector rotor shaft to the yoke assembly migrate out of its location. To prevent this possibility, safety wire is fitted to the roll pin thereby ensuring positive retention.
