COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA (Civil Aviation Regulations 1998), PART 39 - 105 CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY AUTHORITY SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES Partenavia P68 Series Aeroplanes AD/P68/10 Amdt 1 Stabilator Balance Weight Attachment - Inspection and Modification 9/78 Applicability: All models P68 and P68B with S/Nos. prior to S/No. 89 except S/N 03 and 40. Requirement: 1. Visually inspect the stabilator balance weight attachment channel P/N 68-3.3017-3 for cracks, particularly in the areas of channel to stabilator attachment and balance weight to channel attachment. 2. Modify the stabilator balance weight attachment channel in accordance with Partenavia Bolletino di Servizio Tecnico No. 36. Note: Registro Aeronautico Italiano AD No. 78-107/P68-16 Rev. 1 refers. Compliance: 1. For aeroplanes with less than 5000 hours time in service inspect at intervals not exceeding 100 hours time in service until modified. All other aeroplanes inspect at intervals not exceeding 25 hours time in service until modified. 2. For aeroplanes with less than 500 hours time in service modify within 500 hours. All other aeroplanes, modify with 100 hours.
