Engine and Propeller Control Cables 3/95 DM
Applicability: Model P68 series aircraft, up to and including serial number 394, excluding serial number 391.
Requirement: 1. Inspect in accordance with Partenavia Mandatory Service Bulletin 81 Revision 1.
2. Replace the cables in accordance with Partenavia Mandatory Service Bulletin 81 Revision 1.
Compliance: 1. Within 25 hours time in service after 11 January 1995 and thereafter at intervals not to exceed 25 hours time in service, until replacement in accordance with Requirement 2 of this Directive.
2. Prior to 11 January 1996.
Background: A report was received of the failure of a part number NOR 7.171-6 propeller control cable. Amendment 1 is issued in response to a revision of the Requirement Document which requires a more frequent inspection period prior to replacement of the cables.
