Requirement: Thoroughly clean and inspect the nose landing gear upper and lower pivot support assemblies for cracking in the area of the welds using a 6X magnification lens. Compliance: Within 10 hours time in service after 10 September 1973 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 100 hours time in service.
