Landing Gear Lower Pivot Lug 2/89
Applicability: PL 12 and PL 12U:- For Para 1 - S/Nos G350 to G465. For Para 2 - All S/Nos prior to G466.
Requirement: 1. Visually inspect the outer faces of the landing gear lower pivot lug in the vicinity of the weld joining the reinforcing washer to the lug.
2. Inspect the landing gear lower pivot lug in accordance with Transavia SB No. 20.
3. Reinforce each lower pivot lug in accordance with Transavia SB No. 25 or a scheme approved by the Authority.
Compliance: For Para. 1 - Daily, until modified.
For Para. 2 - At intervals not exceeding 75 hours time in service until modified. For Para. 3 - Before 1 September 1974. Background: This Amendment changes the "Applicability" to reflect design and manufacturing improvements to later model aircraft.
