Landing Gear Oleo Assemblies 13/89
Applicability: 1. All models fitted with oleo type landing gear.
2. All models fitted with rod end type oleo landing gear main P/N 6-58, nose P/N 6- 57.
Requirement: For 1: Action in accordance with Transavia S.B. No 29.
For 2: Action in accordance with Transavia S.B. No 29 Addendum dated 17 October 1989. Inspect rod end fittings P/N 6-78 for evidence of cracking, particularly in the grease nipple area.
Note: Cracked fittings are to be replaced before further flight.
Compliance: Unless already accomplished - Prior to further flight after 31 December 1989 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 100 hours time in service.

No 29 dated 17 October 1989 which details dimensions for the rod end type oleo. An inspection of the rod end fittings is also required. An aircraft fitted with this type oleo has entered Australia. Cracking of the rod ends has been reported.
