MLG Positioning Rod and Lower Drag Race Rod End Assemblies

Applicability: All models S-76A prior to S/No. 760308.
Requirement: 1. Inspection in accordance with Sikorsky Alert SB 76-32-10.
2. Modification in accordance with Sikorsky CSN 76-134A.
Note: FAA AD 82-25-01 R 1 also refers.
Compliance: 1. For aircraft with landing gear positioning rod ends with 1500 or more hours time in service after 31 December 1986; within 25 hours time in service after 31 December 1986 and thereafter at each Maintenance Release inspection.
For aircraft with landing gear positioning rod ends with less than 1500 hours time in service after 31 December 1986; before 1525 hours time in service and thereafter at each Maintenance Release inspection.
2. Within 300 hours time in service after 31 December 1986 or before 30 June 1987 whichever occurs first.
Note: Installation of the landing gear modification kit terminates the requirement of the inspection requirements of this Directive.
