AD/S-76/68 Landing Gear Parts Life Limit 6/2002
Applicability: All Model S-76A helicopters.
Requirement: Action in accordance with the technical requirements of FAA AD 2002-05-06 Amdt 39-12674.
Compliance: As specified in the Requirement document, with a revised effective date of 13 June 2002.
This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 13 June 2002.
Background: The FAA AD requirement revises the Limitations Section of the S-76A maintenance manual by establishing or revising the retirement lives for the affected parts shown in Tables 1 and 2 of the Requirement document, and establishing cycle counting as an additional method to determine retirement for the affected parts.
