Requirement: Inspect in accordance with Shorts Mandatory Service Bulletin SD3-27-36. Compliance: Before 27 July 1997 for the initial inspection; thereafter as specified in the Requirement Document for the repeat inspection periods. This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 24 April 1997. Background: The manufacturer received reports of corrosion and cracking on inner flap sub- assembly lever brackets.
