Applicability: SD 3-30 aircraft with S/Nos. SH 3002 to SH 3067 fitted with PT6A-45R engines (SB SD3-71-11), and S/Nos. SH 3068 to SH 3071, SH 3073, SH 3075, SH 3077 and SH 3078.

Compliance: Unless already accomplished, within 400 hours time in service after 31 January 1981.
Background: During flight testing after fitting PT6A-45R engines, it was found that in some low weight configurations the aircraft was marginally below the required VMCL rate of roll.
