AD/SD3-60/44 Strobe Lighting 1/97
Applicability: This Directive is applicable to all SD3-60-200 variant aeroplanes.
Requirement: Incorporate Modification No A8651 (Introduction of New Strobe Light and Power Supply with Associated Hardware) in accordance with Shorts Service Bulletin SD360-33-25 Revision 1 dated July 1996.
Note: CAA(UK) AD 007-05-96 refers.
Compliance: Prior to 31 March 1997.
Background: The CAA(UK) has advised that the existing tail strobe light does not meet the certification requirements regarding minimum intensity. Action specified by this Directive rectifies this deficiency.
