Applicability: Model 340B S/N 160 through 226 inclusive.
Requirement: Action in accordance with SAAB Service Bulletin 340-28-013. Note 1: Swedish Airworthiness Directive (SAD) No 1-046 refers. Note 2: FAA AD 92-03-10 Amdt 3908165 refers. Compliance: Within 250 hours time in service from 20 April 1992 or by 31 July 1992, whichever occurs first.
Background: During pressure refuelling, a piece of foam blocked the vent line between the inner and outer fuel cell. This blockage caused a pressure build up which deformed the ribs and wing skin.
