SAAB SF340 Series Aeroplanes
AD/SF340/36 Sensor Loops 11/92
Applicability: All model SF340 S/N SF340A-004 thru 159 and S/N340B-160 thru 339 inclusive.
Requirement: Action in accordance with SAAB Service Bulletin 340-36-006 which supersedes and cancels SAAB Service Bulletin 340-36-005.
Note: Swedish Airworthiness Directive SAD No. 1-054 refers and supersedes SAD No. 1-053.
Compliance: Prior to 1 January 1993.
Background: Failure to relocate the sensor loops could result in a bleed air system hot air leak going undetected. If the leak continued, a reduction of structural integrity due to damage/disbonding of the fuselage skin could occur.
