SIAI Marchetti S205 and S208 Series Aeroplanes
AD/SM-205/39 Powerplant Control Cables 5/98
Applicability: All models S. 205 and S. 208 aircraft.
Requirement: 1. Remove all powerplant control cables from the aircraft and inspect in accordance with AERMACCHI Service Bulletin 205-SB-061.
2. Inspect, without removal from the aircraft, all powerplant control cables in accordance with AERMACCHI Service Bulletin 205-SB-061.
Note: RAI AD 98-021 refers.
Compliance: 1. Within 50 hours time in service after 23 April 1998, or before 31 December 1998, whichever occurs first, and at each engine overhaul thereafter.
2. Within 100 hours time in service after accomplishment of the Requirement 1 inspection, and thereafter at intervals not to exceed 100 hours time in service.
This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 23 April 1998.
