COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA (Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998), PART 39 - 105 CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY AUTHORITY SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.
Eurocopter AS 332 (Super Puma) Series Helicopters
AD/S-PUMA/49 Pilot Cyclic Stick Stops 7/2003 DM
Applicability: Model AS332 helicopters, versions C, C1, L, and L1, not modified in accordance with MOD 0726297, and equipped with pilot cyclic stick stop supports part number 332A27 2141 00 or part number 332A27 2141 01.
Requirement: 1. Accomplish the instructions described in paragraph 2.B.2.a. of Eurocopter AS 332 Alert Service Bulletin (ASB) No. 67.00.27.
2. Accomplish the instructions described in paragraph 2.B.2.b. of Eurocopter AS 332 ASB No. 67.00.27.
Before installing any pilot cyclic stick stop supports held as spares, accomplish the instructions described in paragraphs 2.B.2.b. and 2.C. of ASB No. 67.00.27.

Compliance: 1. Within 50 flight hours after 4 June 2003, unless already accomplished.
2. Before 4 December 2003.
This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 4 June 2003.
