Engine Exhaust System - Inspection 2/83
Applicability: Model P210N with S/Nos. P21000001 to P21000811 not fitted with complete inconel exhaust systems consisting of Cessna part numbers 2154000-53 left hand assembly, 2154000-54 right hand assembly and 2154000-68 forward crossover assembly.

Note 1: FAA AD 81-23-03 R2 refers.
Compliance: 1. Unless already accomplished in accordance with the previous issues of this Directive, within 25 hours time in service after 31 December 1982.
Note 2: Thereafter at intervals not exceeding 50 hours time in service except as shown under the Repair Procedures outlined in Cessna SIL SE82-3.
Background: This Directive has been amended to exclude aircraft fitted with complete inconel exhaust systems. Repetitive inspections of the engine exhaust system are required to reduce the possibility of carbon monoxide entering the cabin, and to prevent the loss of engine and electrical power.
