Cessna 320 Series Aeroplanes
AD/CESSNA 320/14 Engine Nacelle Wiring - Inspection 6/71
Applicability: All models with S/Nos. 320-0001 to 320F-0045.
Requirement: 1. (a) Visually inspect the insulating material of the electrical wiring grommet and clamps located in the engine nacelles between the canted bulkhead and the firewall for charred, burnt or heat hardened condition.
(b) Visually inspect the heat shields located in the engine nacelles between the canted bulkhead and the firewall for deterioration or incorrect installation and attachment that could contribute to excessive heat in this area.
2. If any of the conditions described in para. 1 are found during the required inspections, replace any defective parts with serviceable items.
3. Modify the engine nacelles in accordance with Cessna SL ME71-6.
Compliance: For Paras. 1 and 2 - Within 100 hours time in service after 30 July 1971 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 100 hours time in service until modified in accordance with Para. 3.
For Para. 3 - Before 1 February 1972.
