AD/CESSNA 400/11 Amdt 2
Fuel System-Placards 8/92
Applicability: All models 401, 401A, 402, 402A, 411, 411A, 421 and 421A not incorporating Cessna SL ME69-16.
Requirement: 1 (a). On all models, a placard reading "Operation With Less Than Ten (10) Gallons of Fuel in Each Main Tank is Prohibited" is to be placed in full view of the pilot as near as possible to the main fuel quantity indictor.
Note: This requirement reduces the usable capacity of each main tank to 40 U.S. Gallons.
1 (b). On all models, a placard reading "Maintain Power Within Green Arcs During Descent" is to be placed in full view of the pilot and as near as possible to the manifold pressure gauge.
1 (c). On all models a placard reading "Maximum Speed with 15 Degrees to Full Flap Shall Not Exceed 126Kts" is to be placed in full view of the pilot and as near as possible to the airspeed indicator.
2. Unless previously carried out modify main fuel tanks in accordance with Cessna SL ME69-16.
Note 1: The operator may make and certify the installation of the above placards. Letters of one eight inch minimum height shall be used.
Note 2: The placards may be removed following incorporation of Cessna SL ME69- 16 relating to the installation of additional booster pumps.
Note 3: FAA AD 69-14-01 amdt 39-793 refers.
Compliance: 1. Requirement 1 (a) to (c), inclusive. Forthwith.
2. Prior to 30 June 1993.
