AD/CESSNA 550/10 Amdt 2
MLG Torque Link Assembly 8/89
Applicability: All model S550 series not modified in accordance with Cessna Service Bulletin SB S550-32-5.
Requirement: Inspect and verify that the cotter pins securing the LH and RH main landing gear torque link connections are installed. If either cotter pin is broken, missing, or exhibits any evidence of being cut or sheared by the nut, the nut must be retorqued and a new cotter pin installed in accordance with Cessna MM 32-11-01 Pages 403, 404, and 405, prior to further flight.

Compliance: Prior to the first flight of the day.
Note: The inspection may be accomplished by the Pilot in Command in which case AD reference shall be entered in a certification made on the Maintenance Release coincident with that for the Daily Inspection. Any rectification required must be carried out by an appropriately licensed person.
