Requirement: Inspect the inboard elevator torque tube fittings visually for cracking, and in accordance with Cessna Alert Service Letter SLA650-27-30. Note: FAA AD 92-27-08 refers. Compliance: Within 25 hours time in service after 25 January 1993. 3/93 DM Background: There has been a report of cracking of the elevator inboard attach fitting and this Directive is issued to preclude potential loss of elevator control.
