AD/CF34/2 Fuel Control Bypass Valve 7/88
Applicability: CF34-1A and -3A engines installed in Canadair CL-600-2A12 and CL-600-2B16 aircraft.
Requirement: Action in accordance with FAA AD 88-06-07 amendment 39-5866, paragraph (A) items (1) and (2).
Compliance: Before 30 September 1988.
Background: This Directive has been issued to require compliance with FAA AD 88-06-07. The FAA Directive requires replacement of the fuel control by-pass piston to prevent an engine flameout or uncommanded power roll back due to contamination of the fuel control.
