SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive (AD) AD/CF34/6 Amdt 1 and issues the following AD under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CAR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Life Limited Rotating Engine Parts 10/2002
Applicability: General Electric (GE) CF34-3A1 and -3B1 series engines.
Requirement: Amend the GE CF34-3A1 and -3B1 series turbofan engine manual SEI-756, Chapter 5-21-00 to include the inspection requirements of FAA AD 2002-05-02 CORR.
Note: FAA AD 2002-05-02 CORR, Amdt 39-12670, refers which corrects an error in the FAA AD 2002-05-02.
Compliance: Within 30 days after the effective date of this directive. This Amendment becomes effective on 3 October 2002.
Background: The actions mandated in this Airworthiness Directive are intended to prevent critical life limited rotating engine part failures, which could result in uncontained engine failure and damage to the aircraft.
Amendment 1 of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 16 May 2002.
The original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 6 September 2001.
