General Electric Turbine Engines - CF700 Series
AD/CF700/14 Compressor Discs 9/85
Applicability: CF700-2C, -2D, -2D-2 engines with compressor discs identified by Serial numbers.
Requirement: 1. Remove from service sixth stage compressor discs, P/N 37D401316P101, and seventh stage compressor discs, P/N 37D401317P101, having S/Nos. listed below and replace with serviceable discs:

Stage 7: 08742, 08745, 08756, 08760, 08761, 08767, 08806, 08815,
08818, 08822, 08825, 08826, 08832, 08849, 08851, 08853,
08867, 08873, 08876, 08879, 08891, 08895, 08897, 08899,
09120, 09127, 09145.
Requirement: 2. Inspect first stage compressor discs, P/Nos. 37E501428P102 and 37E50142SP106, with S/Nos. listed below for material properties in accordance with General Electric Company CJ610 engine alert SB No. (CJ610) A72-130, dated March 8, 1978, or CF700 engine alert SB No. (CF700) A72-140, dated March 8, 1978, as appropriate, or later approved revision.
Serial Numbers: 09804, 09811, 09825, 09847, 09861.
3. Discs determined to be satisfactory per General Electric Company inspection procedures may be returned to service. Replace unsatisfactory discs with serviceable discs.
4. Discs removed from service are to be forwarded to General Electric Company for evaluation; or
FAA AD 78-07-06 Amdt. 39-3169; or AD/GE-T/33
Compliance: Within 10 flights after 17 March 1978.
