SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
Background: Transport Canada has received a report of electrical arcing between the IDG cable and an engine cowl door due to IDG cable chafing. This condition, if not corrected, could potentially be an ignition source of an in-flight fire and/or result in the in-flight loss of electrical power.
This Directive requires an inspection of the IDG cables, installation of a protective conduit and, if necessary, rework or replacement of damaged cables.
