AD/CON/49 Amdt 1
Rotary Fuel Pump P/N 643367A2 8/87 TX
Applicability: GTSIO-520-N Series engines fitted with Lear Siegler rotary fuel pump P/N 643367A2.
Requirement: Action in accordance with the technical requirement of FAA AD Priority Letter 87- 04-05 dated 12 February 1987 as follows:
Quote;
"(a) Cut and remove the safety wire from the four attaching screws on the regulator valve cover of fuel pump P/N 643367A2.
(b) Loosen screws one full turn
(c) Tighten the four screws to 24-27 inch pounds
(d) Safety wire the four screws with .032 inch wire" Unquote. (Lear Siegler INC SB No. 101SB015 dated 17 December 1986, and TCM SB No. M87-6 dated 6 February 1987 refer).
Compliance: Within 10 operating hours after 27 February 1987.
Note: Prior compliance with the referenced Service Bulletins does not constitute compliance with this Directive.
Background: This Directive is amended to correct the metrication error which was introduced into the 7 May published issue of this Directive. Reference to Nm has been deleted from this Amendment.
