Tail Rotor Kevlar Tie Bar 3/97
Applicability: Models 365 N1 and 365 N2 fitted with tail rotor blades P/Nos.: 365A12.0010 all dash numbers
365A12.0020.00
365A33.2131 all dash numbers 365A12.0020.02
Requirement: Action in accordance with Eurocopter SA 365 S.B.05.34. Rev 3.
Note: DGAC AD 92-185-033(B)R4 refers.
Compliance: Unless already accomplished, within 250 hours time in service after 15 September 1994 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 250 hours time in service.
The instructions titled: VERY IMPORTANT, regarding the operation of the rudder pedals, are to be complied with forthwith.
The Compliance of the previous issue has not been altered and this Amendment has effect from 27 February 1997.
Background: There has been an accident overseas during the approach phase that resulted in a fatality, and injuries to personnel.
Amendment 1 included another part number into the Applicability.
Amendment 2 reflected the latest issues of the DGAC AD and the Requirement document.
Amendment 3 is to reflect the latest issues of the Requirement document and the DGAC AD.
Amendment 2 of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 30 March 1995.
Amendment 1 of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 15 September 1994.
The original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 28 December 1992.
