Attachment of Outboard Fins 3/97
Applicability: Models 365N, N1 and N2 fitted with outboard fins that are secured with studs P/n 365A13-3017-24, on which Mod 365A07-55B08 has not been embodied.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Eurocopter SB SA365 01.40 R1.
Note: DGAC AD 94-076-036(B)R1 refers.
Compliance: Unless already accomplished in accordance with the previous issue of this Directive, before further flight after 27 February 1997.
This Amendment has effect from 27 February 1997.
Background: Following the loss of an outboard fin, other aircraft were found to have loose fin attaching studs.
Amendment 1 reflects the latest revisions of the Requirement document, and the DGAC AD, it also revises the Applicability to exclude aircraft at a particular mod state.
The original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 20 April 1994.
