SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
Eurocopter SA 360 and SA 365 (Dauphin) Series Helicopters
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CAR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.
AD/DAUPHIN/52 Main Rotor Blade Life Limits 9/2000
Applicability: SA 365 models C, C1, C2 and C3. Requirement: Remove from service main rotor blades:
1. P/N 365A 11.0010.03 before attaining 10 000 hours time in service; and
b. P/N 365A 11.0020.02 and .03 before attaining 12 000 hours time in service.
Note: DGAC AD 2000-235-045(A) refers.
Compliance: From the effective date of this directive.
This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 7 September 2000.
Background: This directive is to limit the life of certain main rotor blades.
