Trim Tab Connecting Rod Eye End 11/91
Applicability: Model DH 104 series.
Requirement: Remove the rudder and elevators, and the rudder and elevator trim tab connecting rod assemblies; carry out an inspection for cracking of the eye ends P/N CM-2A and CM-2B.

Compliance: At each check 4 inspection. The compliance time of the previous issue of this Directive was at intervals not exceeding 500 hours time in service.
Background: A cracked eye end was found on a Heron aircraft elevator trim tab connecting rod. The same part is fitted to Dove aircraft. This amendment extends compliance to align with Country of Origin AD.
