Applicability: DHC-8 aircraft, models and serial numbers as listed in the Requirement Document. Requirement: Action in accordance with Transport Canada AD CF-94-26. Note: de Havilland SB 8-21-66 Revision B refers.
Compliance: Unless already accomplished, prior to 1 February 1996, or as indicated in part I.D of de Havilland Service Bulletins 8-25-89 through 8-25-93, whichever occurs later.
Background: The black thermal insulation blankets that are identified in AD/DHC-8/34, have also been found to be installed on the air cycle machine delivery and recirculation ducts in the aircraft rear fuselage.
