MGB Suspension Bi-Directional Cross Beam 9/97
Applicability: Model AS 350, versions B, BA, B1, B2, and D, fitted with MGB suspension bi- directional cross beam P/N 350A38.1018, all dash numbers, on the complete cross beam assemblies P/N 350A38.0210, all dash numbers without Mod No. 072720 embodied.
Requirement: Action in accordance with EUROCOPTER FRANCE SB No 05.00.28.
Note: DGAC AD 96-156-071(B)R1 refers.
Compliance: Within 30 hours time in service after 4 September 1996; as applicable. Thereafter as specified in the requirement document.
The initial issue of this directive had effect from 4 September 1996 and the compliance remains unchanged. This amendment has effect from 14 August 1997.
Background: The manufacturer received an in-service report of a crack in the MGB suspension cross beam.
Amendment 1 alters the Applicability to remove certain modified assemblies, and reference the manufacturer's definitive Service Bulletin.
