AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive (AD) AD/ECUREUIL/83 and issues the following AD under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Applicability: Model AS 350 helicopters, versions B, BA, B1, B2, B3, BB, and D, with MOD 070682 incorporated (Eurocopter AS 350 Service Bulletin No. 67.09), and before incorporation of MOD 073179.
Requirement: Accomplish the requirements of Eurocopter AS 350 Alert Service Bulletin No. 67.00.24.
Note: DGAC AD F-2003-002 R1 refers.
Compliance: Before 12 March 2003, unless already accomplished. Thereafter, after each readjustment of the cyclic stick longitudinal nose-up control stop, accomplish Paragraph 2.B.1 of the Requirement document.
The compliance times remain unchanged by this issue. This Amendment becomes effective on 13 May 2004. Background: The manufacturer determined that there could be a risk of interference when applying a load to the cyclic stick in the nose-up control stop position configuration, during a give-way manoeuvre.
