Part II: Within 250 hours time in service after 30 April 1985. Background: a. Inadvertent flap extension due to short circuit in flap system control and protection unit have been reported. b. Amendment 1 includes a further modification to prevent tripping the Flap control circuit breaker when the fire extinguishing system is actuated.
