Trim Tab Actuator Attachments 12/87
Requirement: Action in accordance with Embraer SB110-027-0083. Compliance: Within 500 hours time in service after 3 December 1987. Background: The Department has received reports of fractured spring pins on Australian aircraft. Pin failure could result in control surface flutter. Amdt 1 of this Directive extended compliance to all trim tab actuators. Amdt 2 of this Directive references SB110-027- 0083 which replaces existing spring pins with solid pins.
