Flap Control Switch 8/89
Applicability: All EMB-110 aircraft serial number 110001 through 110467 inclusive. Requirement: Action in accordance with Embraer SB 110-027-0084 Revision 1. Note: Brazilian AD 88-09-01 Revision 1 also refers.
Compliance: Prior to 2 November 1989.
Background: Embraer have advised that chafing between the attaching screws of the flap control switch potentiometer and resistor R273 can cause inadvertent flap extension.
Amendment 1 to this AD was issued to reflect an addition to the applicable part numbers in the Requirement documents.
Amendment 2 to this Directive is issued to amend the Requirement Document.
