AD/EMY/24 Aerazur Life Rafts 11/91
Applicability: Aerazur life rafts with part numbers listed in the requirement document and serial numbers up to 198, which are installed on Aerospatiale Helicopters.
Requirement: Action in accordance with the Technical Requirements of DGAC AD 91-166 (AB).
Note: Aerazur SB 332.60.003 Revision 1 refers.
Compliance: As specified in the Requirement Document but with a revised compliance time of 31 December 1991 for life rafts which are installed on Australian registered aircraft.
Background: This Directive requires installation of additional rivets to increase the life raft top cover ejection resistance and a check of the vent hole passage to prevent untimely opening. The compliance time required by the French Authority is extended by two months.
